Why HyTruck?
The EU Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation requires member states to provide hydrogen refuelling infrastructure along the TEN-T core network by end of 2030. With the deadline approaching, many practical questions remain unresolved.
HyTruck supports public authorities in planning the development of a transnational network of green hydrogen refuelling stations suited for heavy-duty trucks — engaging regional and national authorities, scientific institutions, SMEs and business support organisations in a triple-helix approach.

CLIC's role in HyTruck
CLIC Innovation strengthened stakeholder engagement and transnational knowledge exchange around hydrogen refuelling infrastructure for heavy-duty transport. As a project partner and coordinator of the project's transnational exchange channel (GoA 3.3), CLIC organised the HyTruck Breakfast Briefings and the final conference in Helsinki. CLIC also led the Finnish regional pilot and developed the HRS Spatial Development Concept for the Helsinki Region, combining infrastructure analysis with stakeholder dialogue involving public authorities, energy companies, logistics actors and other hydrogen-sector stakeholders.

As coordinator of the transnational exchange channel, CLIC organised the HyTruck Breakfast Briefings, a recurring online knowledge-sharing format connecting public authorities, companies, researchers and hydrogen experts across the Baltic Sea Region.
CLIC organised the HyTruck Final Conference in Helsinki on 12 November 2025. The conference presented the project's main tools and results and marked the conclusion of the project's joint work on hydrogen refuelling infrastructure in the Baltic Sea Region.
